Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a Silicon Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will be part of the silicon validation team supporting next-generation data center products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, and a passion for innovation, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Silicon Validation Engineer

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Pay Range: $59.35 - $65.29 - W2 on Experis (Benefits and PTO)

What's the Job?

  • Develop and execute validation test plans for various SoC features and subsystems, including functional, electrical, or power/performance aspects.
  • Perform functional, stress, and performance testing utilizing hardware and software tools.
  • Analyze test results, identify, isolate, and debug issues to ensure product quality.
  • Document and communicate test findings and status updates to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with design, verification, and software teams to provide feedback and improve validation methodologies and tools.
Must Have
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in silicon validation, testing, or debugging.
  • Demonstrated validation experience in one or more of the following:
  • Validation of:
  • Functional: RAS,Core, PCIe, Memory Controller, IO, Power Management, Coherency, Manageability, BIOS/Microcode development and debug, or Fuses

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in silicon validation, testing, or debugging.
  • Proven experience validating functional components such as RAS, PCIe, Memory Controller, and BIOS/Microcode development and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, SoC subsystems, and system-level functionality.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or C/C++, and experience with hardware and software debug tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG.
