Seeking a home with a live-in couple or just two friends who are looking to make a difference. Share your home and life with an amazing man who needs support with his.
Support needs include assistance walking, dressing, eating, and personal care. Medications need to be monitored and administered. Taking this gentleman to appointments is necessary. For communication, he uses typing and it is an expectation for those who support him to be trained in using this method with him daily.
This is a man of many interests. He loves nature and being outside when the weather allows and when he feels up to it. He often visits VINS Nature Center or enjoys sitting outside or swinging when the weather permits, taking in nature. He loves the ocean and vacations in Maine each year. As he puts it, The water is calming and sounds like freedom. He also enjoys going to local lakes in the summer. He enjoys being read to and writing book reviews. He is a fan of psychological thrillers, enjoys watching sports (in person and on TV), and really has an interest in Zambonis! He enjoys watching the news and a variety of series that are streamed. His love of music runs deep, from Pearl Jam to jazz to a great like Frank Sinatra!
