Tomorrow, we will power checkout-free experiences anywhere you go to make the everyday experiences of living, working, and playing remarkable - giving us back our most valuable asset, time./ph2Responsibilities/h2pOur OHSU client is seeking a new Parking Attendant Breaker - Driving for the Marquam Hill operation./ppHours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM/ppPay Rate: $18.00/hour/ppSuccessful candidate will be an energetic, responsible and dependable self-starter, breaking various garage attendants and/or valets/pulliPrevious customer service experience required/liliPrevious parking experience desired/liliAbility to drive manual transmission preferred but not required/liliClean driving record to pass MVR check necessary/li/ulpBasic Function - Ensure that appropriate number of cars is kept on location throughout shift, cars are being parked in an appropriate fashion and the lot is kept clean and presentable./pulliDirect incoming customers to available parking spaces./liliCount vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed./liliWrite and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies./liliPatrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, if applicable./liliProvide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle./liliResponsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform./liliCourteously assist Customers by answering any questions they may have. If necessary, direct the Customer to the Facility Manager for further assistance./liliControl traffic at entrances and exits as needed./liliAssist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager./liliReport any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager./liliCommunicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to garage office./liliSubstitute for Valets when necessary, if authorized./liliHave a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage./liliAssist Facility Manager with other duties as needed./li/ulh2Qualifications/h2pQualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be a requirement./ppLanguage Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company./ppMathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
