Job Description:
We are actively looking for a Mobile Dermatology Physician Assistant for an Inpatient Clinic in Miami, FL, who needs to travel around 35 miles on a daily basis
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating common dermatological disorders such as psoriasis, dermatitis, or eczema and dermatological infections such as those caused by viruses, fungi, or bacteria
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, including x-rays, blood work, and scans
• They perform patient intake, provide patient education on skincare and skin cancer prevention, and complete nursing tasks, like removing stitches after a procedure
• Refers patients to specialists if necessary and analyzes medical records and reports
• Advises patients regarding prescriptions and treatment plans
Qualification/Experience:
• Masters' Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Dermatology is required
• Surgical experience preferred
• EMA experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
• Active State FL License as Physician Assistant
• Board Certification (PA-C, PANCE or equivalent) required
